Luncheon Voucher®: freedom of choice for lunch

Ticket Restaurant® (Luncheon Vouchers® in the UK) allows employees to enjoy their meal outside the workplace in an affiliated restaurant or catering establishment of their choice.

The employer's contribution to the cost of meals is often exempt from social security charges and considered tax deductible. For the employee, this contribution is generally not subject to income tax.

Created in UK in the 1950s, Luncheon Vouchers® were launched in France as Ticket Restaurant® in 1962, and are still the same today. Ticket Restaurant® now operates in almost all countries with an Accor Services presence. Recent changes in the public welfare sector, in several countries has meant that citizens can now also benefit.
